Yet another example of two people whom I both know somehow finding each other online... this world is getting too small. This is the third or fourth time this has happened. (In some cases, they don't even have the excuse that they're both in the same area of fandom, as you and sarcasm_hime do...)

BTW, I emailed you a few weeks back about purchasing some League Of Evil Geniuses merchandise, assuming it exists, and never heard back from you...

Well, actually we knew each other years ago over the ICG mailing list; she hasn't been on it much recently since she's much more geared towards web-fora (which is something I really don't get; LJ is the closest I can come to that without getting hives).

I also met her (albeit when it was late and everybody was cranky) at TorCon in the masquerade green room.

Oh, and I think I remember her being on an anime mailing list I was on.

My worst was -6 degrees of separation. I went to a convention and worked on this silly project in the internet lounge. I got back to work and a few weeks later one of the guys I worked with once in a while says "My aunt was in Newsweek; it's because my cousin has his hot-tub on the web" (yeah, that many years ago). We look up the article. Now I know where the website is, we start looking around there and I find "The Internet Kinetic Sculpture" (as in the silly project in the internet lounge at CapriCon). A few days later, I'm telling this story at my sewing circle, and Lisa (who I know fannishly and was a co-founder) says "e-mail him and ask him if he ever lived in a commune called 'Hip-deep'" (in another state a decade before). I get back "Well, it wasn't really a commune..." So this guy who I ran into at an out-of-state con is related to a non-fannish guy I work with, and shared a house with a fannish friend when they were both in grad school in Michigan.

There isn't any League of Evil Geniuses merchanidise.
