Eurovision Song Contest 2012 entry 2-1

It's a new week and a new show. The second semi-final is opened by Željko Joksimović for Serbia with Nije Ljubav Stvar.

Serbia is going with a known quantity. Joksimović has competed for Serbia in the past, and was a host of the 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in Belgrade. He's both performer and composer on his number. It's a big dramatic ballad with lush orchestration.

Again, we get the video from a stage performance. Not exciting. A bit odd, actually. I don't get the featured positioning of the clarinettist, as he's not particularly featured in the arrangement.

I don't hate it, but it doesn't do a lot for me.
