Printing, printing, printing.

So the i9900 is pretty stingy with ink under normal circumstances.

Normal circumstances isn't printing over 200 letter-size prints at high quality on pro-gloss photo paper with pretty heavy photo coverage.

9 tanks of ink replaced, including 2 of photo magenta (and here I thought 2 tanks of photo magenta would get us through the weekend). Out of photo magenta (including the one in the print head that's waiting to be replaced so the job can continue), photo cyan and red. Down to 1 tank of green. Plenty of cyan, magenta and yellow. Tons of black still in inventory. I think after FC I'm just going to break down and order some big packs from Costco. Scratch that. Costco doesn't seem to sell the 4-packs or 6-packs of BCI-6 ink anymore, so it's not any cheaper than OfficeMax or OfficeDepot.

Maybe I'll just invest in a continuous-flow system.

At you don't have cats or kids to knock the bottles over.

For the kind of printing you are doing, the continuous-flow system definitely looks worthwhile!

Nay verily, this too shall end. In about three months. :-)
