They coronate someone, I guess. Dunno -- last year, I peeked into the ceremonial stuff & couldn't see over everyone's heads. You're about 6 miles taller than me, so maybe you could tell what's going on.

Yeah, there's Japanese, Chinese, Indian, Middle-Eastern too, just pre-1600.

FYI, Coronations in the West are 12th night (early Jan), Beltane (May day) and August 1st (brain don't allow me to remember that name right now). Other than the fact it's a coronation, not much will be known until the crown is decided. And there won't be much in the way of formalities outside the ceremony itself. I know some other Kingdoms get fussy about such things, but the West is usually laid back. But if you've got Elizabethans or other fine non-outdoor wear, this is the SCA event to show them off.
