I had an idea for the perfect BayCon badge ribbon, and it's too late.

So we could increase the size of the hotel at the expense of resolution?

I'm running a show on Saturday. I can't afford to get too pixilated until after masquerade...

It could also apply to Westercon, coming up about a month from now at the same hotel as Baycon.

It's not really as applicable to Westercon. We had more warning about the Westercon move (at last year's Westercon, actually) and Westercon isn't going to require shoehorns and emergency girdles to fit the convention in the Marriott.

Westercon always moves around. It's like a Pervish restaurant. BayCon City, on the other hand, was as stable as any geographic area in California can expect to be.

I love it!

No way we could find blank ribbons, some metallic ink pens and someone with lovely penmanship?

If I had thought of it a day or two ago, I could have asked Boris to print a few. I'm going to ask him if he brought his ribbon printer when I get to the con.

According to the traffic on the list, the answer is yes. I seem to recall that you should check with the Dealers' Liaison table.

I've gotten some pretty good results with colored paper, a printer and a pair of pinking sheers.

(And it's a brilliant ribbon!)

I had an idea for a last-minute ribbon, myself. What sort of bribery does this Boris person require in order to obtain his services, if they're available?

(I'm handing out all these bloody cult-of-johanna ribbons, but I didn't get a ribbon saying "Johanna" (or better yet "I am your god" but that's a tiny bit hubris-tastic, y'know...?)

That's brilliant!

Hitchhiking could also apply too.
