Last political post (I hope) before election day...

If you're in to superstition and/or silly data correlation, the Packers beat the Redskins on Sunday. Apparently there's a correlation between the Redskins' performance in their last game before election day and the performance of the incumbent Presidential party. Redskins win, incumbent wins. Redskins lose, incumbent loses. I'm not too much of a football fan, but I am an expat cheesehead, so the fact that it was the Packers who won such an important victory is something to savor.

We'll be heading off to local liberal Democratic stronghold Vin Santo after work tomorrow for a glass of wine or two; comment back if you think you want to join us there. No TVs, no radio; Susan (the owner) may have cnn.com up on a laptop somewhere, but I doubt it.
