hollister2008 bidcom aprons...

Well, CafePress doesn't offer aprons and doesn't offer red.

King Menus offers plain red aprons for $3 each in packs of 6. I think that's cheap enough for folks.

McGonigal Paper & Graphics offers dark fabric iron-on transfer paper for inkjet printers for $20 for a pack of 10. We can print our own logos and iron them on.

Do it yourself iron-on tend to suck, at least from our experience. If it doesn't work well, take it Kinko for their industrial strength steam press. Take they charge ~$2.

I've actually done pretty well with ink-jet iron-on, and I've got a really crazy iron.

I'm totally into this!
Put me down for one! I'm way into the apron thing.
I really want a shirt

It's Red, and Silly! Of course I want one .

And an apron will be nice for a change. Big Harold calls me the Amelda Marcos of t-shirts. The pile is scary. Fun, but scary.

Bummer that Cafe Press doesn't have anything yet. I would suggest e-mailing them. They've been known to start a new "line" because someone wanted to do a project. It depends on what their buyers can find.

Just checking the apron website. These are Spun Poly, not cotton. Will they take the inkjet as well as cotton does? Stain resistant frequently equals dye resistant, and may be that might be true for inkjet as well.

Also they have embroidery for an addtional $$. And they will do a custom logo if we buy at least 24 of them. And we already have 10 in ConCom.

Well, it would look nicer than printed on.

We got the iron on transfer paper to make VintaCon ribbons, but found we didn't have a REVERSE font...You need to reverse everything!!!!!!
We loaded a reverse font, but it wasn't compatable with the printer, ugh! We ended up taking the paper back.

That can be dealt with; most printer drivers can reverse everything. I've done it many times before.

Well, Cafepress does "bbq aprons", but its an imprint on white.

Custom Logo Factory does 3-pocket "wait aprons" in colors including red, the aprons start at $4.78 and printing starting at $2.35/piece for an 18-piece order plus any setup fees (most of which we can avoid since you have an in-house artist with the right tools)

When I clicked on their "Any Quantity" Program, the link took me to CafePress -- which means getting the wait aprons added to the lineup might be possible!

Not sure if that's the right style of apron; emailed johnnyeponymous to see if he got any photos of the fruit stand staff for reference.
