Mark Leno's Religious Freedom and Civil Marriage Protection act AB849 (yeah, the strikeouts indicate creative legislative procedure to bring this to a second vote) was just passed by the CA State Assembly. It's already been passed by the CA Senate. Now it's on the way to the Gubernator.

He said that if such a bill were to cross his desk, he would sign it.

The question now is: Is he a man of his word, or is he a girly man who will bow to special interests?

Make the call.

Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger
State Capitol Building
Sacramento, CA 95814
Phone: 916-445-2841
Fax: 916-445-4633

The Governor's office has a voicemail tree already configured to take your opinion. Listen to make sure the numbers are right, but I hear the buttons in order to show support are 2 - 1 - 1. I'll be calling in the morning.
