It's going around

1. Five-eighths, one-half or three-eighths?
Whatever the pattern says. 1/2 if I'm winging it.

2. Linen, cotton, wool or silk?
You're kidding, right? Wool, not that I don't use the others. A lot. I even use <gasp>polyester</gasp>, nylon and other synthetics when appropriate.

3. Stripes, solids or prints?
Plaid. Well, not really so much. Herringbone, though. Houndstooth. Damask. Solids with a texture. Prints and stripes when appropriate.

4. Drape or draft?
Wing it. Usually just modify an existing pattern. Drape when there's nothing.

5. Pins or weights?
Depends on the material.

6. Nipper or seam ripper?
What, no razor blade or scalpel? Seam ripper, usually.

7. Pleats or ruffles?
Both

8. Wheel or scissors?
Wheel, unless it's inappropriate for the material.

9. Princess seams or darts?
Neither. Both.

10. Flat-line or bag-line?
Bag line. Flat line if necessary (whether structurally or for time reasons)

11. Serge or French seam?
Serge, unless a french seam or a felled seam will give a better result.

12. Invisible or original sliding?
Neither, if at all possible.

13. Hooks & eyes or lacings?
Depends on the garment.

14. Corset for comfort, or corset for look? (And no, you can’t claim both.)
Neither

15. Bind, pipe or face?
Face, as long as it's appropriate.

1. Five-eighths, one-half or three-eighths?
Yes. 5/8 if the pattern has it, 1/2 if I have to add them myself.

2. Linen, cotton, wool or silk?
It all depends. True linen wrinkles if you look at it, but it takes starch well. Synthetics too.

3. Stripes, solids or prints?
I haven't really dealt with these, but I've done strongly patterned brocade. I wasn't trying to match the seams too much, since the back (it was a vest) was canvas.

4. Drape or draft?
I've free drafted and I've scaled up patterns from books as well as using commercial patterns (modified). I find it difficult to drape alone.

5. Pins or weights?
Weights if I can, pins if I must.

6. Nipper or seam ripper?
Seam ripper.

7. Pleats or ruffles?
I've done both, but more pleats than ruffles (just shirt cuffs).

8. Wheel or scissors?
I don't have a cutting mat big enough to use a wheel, so I use scissors.

9. Princess seams or darts?
I haven't done princess seams as such. Darts rarely.

10. Flat-line or bag-line?
Generally bag, although I've done flat-lining successfully.

11. Serge or French seam?
I don't have access to a serger, so I generally do a French seam or bind the edges if they aren't going to be covered up by lining.

12. Invisible or original sliding?
I've never set in a zipper except once in repairing a vestment.

13. Hooks & eyes or lacings?
Yes.
I have also (gasp) used velcro (strictly for emergencies, you understand).

14. Corset for comfort, or corset for look? (And no, you can’t claim both.)
Neither

15. Bind, pipe or face?
I've mostly faced, but binding has been done. I've never done piping.
