Yes, I pretty much hated pop music at the time. As it is, I probably would only bold a few more today, and some of the songs I bolded wouldn't be today. 1988 was sucktacular for the stuff that charted high.

I actually heard this one done as musak when I was at the grocery store the other day. It took me a while to figure out exactly why it sounded so familiar and another long while to remember what the title was. *shudder*

Well, cause Jennie was already a teenager by then, I've heard some of it. Jennie liked Guns N Roses. I always like Beach Boys - Kokomo was no exception. And Forever Young - Rod Steward. The stuff you bolded was popular around here too.
Some of it I don't even remember. So what else is new?

Interestingly enough, I liked those songs for '88 that you did. I didn't listen to much pop music then, was super-busy with JUST BOUGHT A HOUSE...
