I used to have a Singer Futura II 920 with in-place bobbin winding, and it actually worked really well. Go fig.

I've had two Singers with in-place bobbin winding and both were pure evil ^^;;;. I'm glad you managed to get a good one.

Well, the Futura II is considered by many repair technicians to be the last good machine that Singer ever made. It's predecessor, the Futura 900, on the other hand, is considered to be the first lemon that Singer ever made.
